How long have you been in business?
Blue Water Yachts has been in business since 1988! Originally under the name Marine Marketing.
What is your primary product or service?
We sell used MacGregor sailboats, New Tattoo Yacht sailboats, and Caravelle Performance Pontoon Boats. We also sell parts for all years of MacGregor sailboats.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We purchased our first MacGregor sailboat in 1987 and found it to be just too much fun, so we built a business around the boat!
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Blue Water Yachts specializes in custom outfitting of MacGregor and Tattoo Sailboats. By adding just the right equipment to make the boat fun and easy to use helps the new owner enjoy his boat more!
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location on Westlake Ave in Seattle.
Provide detailed directions to your location
From I5 take the Mercer street exit. Go to Westlake Ave and turn right. Head north on Westlake, our building has a big blue crane to mark us.
What type of payments do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard
Which areas do you service?
We mainly serve the NW area and Canada, but we sell new boats anywhere in the US. Parts are sold worldwide.

Cheryl and Todd McChesney
What are your hours of operation?
10-5 Tuesday thru Friday. Saturday 10-4. Anytime by appointment.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
We have had so much fun with our new boat!
