I believe that people should be able to go to a tattoo studio and not be intimidated. It should be comfortable, inviting, relaxing and friendly. They should feel like they just walked into a friend’s house. I created Damask Tattoo to be that place. My vision was a tattoo and permanent cosmetics studio that felt like a spa. I created my studio to be the place that I would want to go to get tattooed. With soft, light colors, antique furniture, and private rooms the space itself is cozy and relaxing. You may hear Billy Holiday or Etta James when you walk in or we have the occasional 80’s music day if it’s bright and sunny outside. I know that the reason I’m able to have such a lovely studio is because of my clients and friends so I welcome everyone into it with open arms.
I believe that you have a vision for your tattoo and it’s my priority for you to be thrilled every time you see it. It’s a long and important process to choose a tattoo design or cosmetic procedure and your artist. It’s worth it to me to spend the time that we need to make it exactly what you dreamed of or better. I also know that getting a tattoo is uncomfortable and you may be nervous about it before hand. I do everything I can to make it as easy as possible for you. Breathing breaks, some tea or water, relaxing music and conversation usually smooth out the process and make it a pleasant one. Your tattoo will hold the memory of the experience that you had when you received it. I want your great tattoo to hold a great memory.
These are the things I’ve always wished for my clients and friends and now I can finally offer it to them at Damask Tattoo and Permanent Cosmetics.

We've been open since 2009.
What is your primary product or service?
Custom tattoos, photo realistic tattoos, portrait tattoos, permanent cosmetics such as eyebrows, eyeliner, lips and areola and nipple restoration.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I've always been an artist. I can't remember when I first started drawing but I know I've been doing since I could pick up a crayon. I wanted to have a career in art and tattooing was perfect for me.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a spa style studio. We are in an office building along with chiropractors and naturopaths. We have a private entrance and a fresh, clean studio. We have exceptional customer service and are patient and empathetic to our clients.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have a single location on beautiful upper Queen Anne.

We are on upper Queen Anne Ave. N. between Boston St. and McGraw St. We are in an office building above a restaurant called "How to Cook a Wolf" on the second floor.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash and major credit cards.

We have clients who live just a block away and we have clients who fly in from around the country to get tattooed at Damask Tattoo.
